The benefits of our natural soap are numerous: better for your skin, no toxins that you absorb yourself and also do not end up in wastewater. Responsibly produced handmade natural soap, leaving nothing to chance. We use organic cacoa butter, which is highly moisturizing and keeps the skin smooth. In addition, we use other minimally processed oils. Botanicals, fine essential oils, fragrance oils and dyes based on plants or minerals complete each piece of natural organic soap.
We produce our soap using the traditional cold method. The luxurious ingredients we use give this soap a rich lather and the fine oils are wonderfully moisturizing for your skin. The “Cold Method” (Cold Process Soap) is the traditional way of making soap, where the soap maker has complete control over the final product. This method combines fats/vegetable oils (such as palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower oil) with alkali (sodium hydroxide) and water. The chemical reaction between alkali and oils forms the soap. Then we add specific ingredients for each soap and pour the mixture into molds to cure for several days. After being removed from the mold and cut into the proper shape, it takes 4 weeks to several months for the soap to fully “cure” and reach the proper pH.
When making cold process soap, natural glycerin is created as a byproduct. This is created when fatty acids react with alkali molecules.Industrial soap manufacturers often extract glycerin from their soaps for use in other cosmetics. Our cold method soap retains this natural glycerin, resulting in a creamy, rich and nourishing lather while cleansing the skin. In addition, our handmade soaps are enriched with additional oils or butters to provide even more intense moisturization. The biodegradable soap is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, plastic-free and long-lasting.
