A Konjac sponge is soft enough for daily use. If you prefer, you can use it in combination with your favorite cleanser, but that is absolutely not necessary. Before use, soak the sponge thoroughly in warm water to expand the fibers, gently squeeze until it has softened and absorbed water. They should only be used wet, as dry konjacs are too hard and can damage the skin. Use the sponge to cleanse the skin and work in circular motions over the entire skin. Rinse thoroughly after use, gently squeeze out the excess water, and let it dry. With the handy cord, you can hang the sponge up. The sponge lasts about 2 months (with daily use) before it starts to break down naturally. Throw the Konjac sponge in the compost and replace it with a new one.

The konjac sponge must absolutely remain clean, otherwise mold can grow in it. Therefore, rinse it well and let it dry on the string. In warm weather, you can also store the sponge in the refrigerator to prevent mold. If it does happen (after all, it is a natural product), you can try placing the sponge in a bowl of water in the microwave for a few minutes. There's no guarantee that it will work, but it's worth a try.
